Gene uses the ships grappler arms to fend off pirates after Mel helps heal his wounds. I love this shot, in fact this whole episode. And I'm glad that he looks so very "Gene" here. The animation in this show tends to vary greatly, but this is his signature smirk done in the art style I prefer <3
