In the final episode of Fushigi Yuugi, Tamahome faces off against Nakago. In order to help him win his fight, Chichiri has everyone focus their energy (ki) on his staff and directs it to Tamahome.

In this cel, Chichiri raises his staff before planting it firmly in the ground. This shot is missing the Miaka layer, and I'm ok with that ;) That just leaves more Chichiri for our viewing pleasure.

The painters made a whoopsie on this cel so this has a correction layer. The shadows and highlights on Chichiri's mohawk (?) were reversed, so a correction layer was added to fix this. The layer also had lines for his face, eyes and scar on it, leading these areas to be more pronounced in the scan.
